Filey is peaceful and unspoilt. It has a five-mile long beach of clean golden sand, stretching from Bempton and Speeton at the south, to the rocky outcrop of Filey Brigg at the north. There are fossils in the cliffs, and rock pools on the Brigg. A real refuge from the cut and thrust of everyday life.
Filey, North Yorkshire, has its own passenger train station and frequent bus services. It is also within easy reach of the North Yorks Moors, Scarborough, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay.
