    Merchant Serviced Apartments

Posted by jimbeal 29 July 2008

Stayed in one of the penthouses last week for the tall ships and I must say that there was no better place to view. Literally on the waterfront with huge balconies. Located above the Malmasion hotel.

Above the Malmaison hotel, Princes Dock, Liverpool, L3 1EJ. 0151 734 3675. Nearest Train Station - Moorfields.

    Premier Apartments

Posted by roboo 13 February 2008

Serviced apartments in the city centre. Cheaper than a hotel most of the time and you can come and go as you please.

Located in the heart of the city centre, Premier Apartments are situated close to Moorfields and Lime Street Station. From the entrance of the Birkenhead Tunnel, turn left on to Dale St, and then bear right into Hatton Garden. Continue for 200 yards until you see reception's front office on the left-hand side directly opposite the Premier Court office block. 0151 227 9467.

We had a weekend break with friends in Liverpool and wanted something different.

The accommodation was first class and really well priced, and having a kitchen gave us freedom to do breakfast and dinner when we wanted.

We split the bill for a three-bedroom apartment six ways and it only cost us £30 each!

Its a minimum two-night stay which suited us. They don't do hen or stag parties.

We got to it from the Mossley Hill train station in Liverpool, but best check direction details on their website: www.merchantliving.com

Perfect for visiting Liverpool on a shoestring or going to the football.

Located in the city centre near the cathedrals and universities, there's a mixture of en-suite dorms and private twin rooms as well as useful kitchen facilities. Helpful and friendly staff can point out what to do and see and also help arrange tours of the city.

Also has serviced apartments and the only internet cafe in the city centre is next door.

On South Hunter Street just off Hardman Street. Telephone number is 0151 709 8135 whilst the webpage is www.internationalinn.co.uk

    Fantastic boutique hotel

Posted by Ellouise 7 December 2006

62 Castle St - wow what a fantastic hotel, a real boutique hotel - fabulous. The rooms are beautiful, huge, well they have to be to fit the massive beds in.
We were lucky enought to get the room with the view of the River Mersey from one window and Queen Victoria Monument from the other. Can't wait to go back to Liverpool again, we may even venture out of the hotel this time!

Spend a night or more right in the Albert Dock. You might think a Premier Lodge is a Premier Lodge, but this one is a bit special vith vaulted brick ceilings and cast iron pillars, and with a bit of luck you'll have a view over the Albert Dock. And it's a walk or short cab ride to anywhere in the city - Pier Head, Tate Gallery, cathedrals, university shops, football stadia, theatres and the wonderful fountain in Williamson Square where every one smiles…

Albert Dock, L3 4AD. Entrance by the Beatles Museum.

    62 Castle St

Posted by tinagreen 29 September 2006

62 Castle St was formally known as the Trials Hotel and it has been re-opened and fully refurbished to make it a stunning boutique hotel. Each of the 20 bedrooms is unique. As it is a luxury hotel it is slightly dearer than some of your regular hotels but prices start at around £145 and increase to £175 for the Grand Suite. This hotel is located in the heart of the Liverpool business quarter so is in easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants.
