Round our way
pamirka
City of roundabouts and concrete cows, and more recently home to its first league football team, the MK Dons, and the largest indoor ski slope in the UK. The city began in 1969 in response to post-war demands for more housing in the London commuter belt and has shot up in size, now home to around 250,000 people. A lot of people in their 20s studied Milton Keynes in geography classes at school, but there's more to it than an ordered road system. So go and see for yourself (and if you get lost, you can always turn back at the next roundabout).
