This fair claims to be the biggest Antiques Fair in Europe and the size has to be seen to be believed!
Newark is not from Nottingham - about 30 minutes by car or train. Or about 1 hour 30 minutes from London Kings Cross. Makes for an interesting day out - and you can even take your dog along! Next one is in April... they happen a few times each year.

The Vintage Warehouse is a big vintage emporium that has loads of cool clothes inside. As with any old clothes shop, it is fairly jumble sale like and requires a good trawl, however I've acquired some great finds from it. Plus, they have a one pound bargain pit, and, although the style of the clothes in there isn't exactly fashionable, there are some nice materials if you rummage for long enough. Best of all, even if you don't buy anything it's a fascinating place to wonder around.

This designer filled street is often referred to as “Nottingham's Bond Street” and it’s easy to see why. Located at the end of Clumber Street and about 100m south of the Lace Market Quarter. Shops here include Diesel, Ted Baker, Flannels, Limeys, Coast, Kurt Geiger, and in the vicinity of Bridlesmith Gate is a flagship Hugo Boss store (St Peters Gate), the original Paul Smith shop (Byard Lane), flagship Paul Smith shop (low pavement) and Reiss (Byard Lane). This is well worth a visit.
