A night time Lantern Parade around the beautiful city of Salisbury. Local children and adults make the willow and paper lanterns throughout the year and congregate to march through the streets ending at Salisbury Cathedral for food and singing. It is so pretty watching all the lanterns glow in the night and walking through quiet streets to see the Cathedral lit up at the end.
Starts at the Arts Centre:
Bedwin St, Salisbury SP1 3UT

Architecturally, the finest cathedral in the UK, in my own opinion (if you like flying buttresses...) Also containing the oldest (as far as I know) working mechanical clock in the world, and some amazing works of art, such as the Sleeping Knight. I can't actually remember who he was though, off hand.
The Close Salisbury SP1 2EJ. But you can't really miss it with a 404 foot spire...
