It's very expensive to club in Norway and recommended you bring your own drinks from home, but it's one of few places where smoking is prohibited so if you want to dance the night away without choking to death on cigarette fumes it's a great way to spend your time!
Yes, smoking is prohibited, and you can really dance the night away with maybe 4 or 5 people, that will be inside the bar, all the rest of them are on the terraces, which are heated and where smoking is allowed, needles to say the terraces are crowded. Drunk Norwegians of all ages from 15 to 75 are a normal thing to see in Oslo on the weekend. So if you're a beer maniac (cause thats all that they drink) you'll feel like home. Prices are high, large beer (0.6) is from 65 to 85 crowns, which is about 10-12 euros, and if you'll buy beer in the store, make sure you buy it before 20.00, after that is prohibited to buy beer in the store??Send your feedback or queries to been.there@guardian.co.uk
