    The Clachaig Inn

Posted by pottig 30 April 2007

Fantastic place to eat, drink and recover from a hard day out on the hill. Also has accommodation if you're not a hard-up climber. Can get pretty lively on winter weekends. Great selection of real ales and even better selection of single malts.

I agree entirely with everything said by pottig, but having been there twice in the last month I sadly have to add that the service is attrocious. Stand at the bar and see if anyone looks even vaguely interested in serving you. I'm not asking for it to be like Macdonalds, but a hello, a smile and a thanks wouldn't go amiss (and I'm Scottish!).
