Problem with the Hope Street Hotel is the wretched restaurant. Way too pricey for over-hyped fare, multiple occurances of either annoyingly over-fawning staff or surly 'service' which severely under-impresses regular restaurant-goers. And it's noisy. Nice enough hotel though, as long as you're not entertaining clients for dinner. The espresso is decent, which is a saving grace.
