Maybe O.K. inside but if you venture into the much-trumpeted 'garden' at the back you will find dying plants, cigarette butts everywhere, uncleared tables and, joy of joys, bags of rotting rubbish (to be fair, not necessarily from Caffe Simo but ... ) and a nasty toilet. Go to Pasticerria Tadeucci on Piazza San Michele instead. No ice-cream, I grant you, but wonderful coffee and the best ricciarelli around. Nicer place to people watch, too. Not cheap, however!
