Ecrins Lodge appears to be at the epicentre of just about every outdoor activity, and is set in a beautifully secluded spot next to a picturesque river. Just about any summer or winter sport is catered for, and the hosts were unfailing in their desire to organise a successful trip for us. This is a particularly good place for food-lovers as the chef definitely caters to top restaurant standards! Must be one of the best located and best value places in the Alps. Definitely going back.
