    Bruges Cathedral

The Cathedral in Bruges is, even to the most secular visitor, the most magical, mystical gothic building in Europe.

You've got to be joking? The current cathedral in Bruges/Brugge is Sint-Salvatorskathedraal. It is quite pleasant, but totally unremarkable. I suspect that 99/100 tourists would struggle to know the name. You may be referring to the Basilica of the Holy Blood, which was only built in the late nineteenth century in late-Gothic style, but is hardly a memorable example of that style.
