    Chinafaces

Sometimes, you want to see what is really going on in China. My experience was fantastic.

Travel by public transport, go to villages where you are the only outside visitor, meet the rural population and avoid tickets and people trying to sell their gear. I was thrilled seeing Beijing in a different light and had a wonderful experience with Chinafaces.

Working in China but unable to take the time off to follow a group of family friends, I sent this group of nearly-retireds with Chinafaces through China and they absolutely loved it.

They were originally opposed to 'group travel' but knew that on their own they would struggle so Chinafaces was chosen for its more 'off the beaten path' approach. All comfort levels were met (my main concern) and they still got to see all the major sites but I know that when they went home to their friends who had already 'done' China, their experience outshone that of those who had gone before them by a looong mile. It seems that the Chinafaces guides are more into showing China as it really is and they saw a lot deeper into the lives of the people here with this trip.

They still gush about their trip when I see them and have also referred clients to Chinafaces as a result of their ongoing gushing back home!

Chinafaces offers an alternative and memorable option for travel in China, where mass tourism and over-visited sights seem to be the norm. But for those who want to know and experience more about China, large and diverse country that it is, the people at Chinafaces can offer you a holiday to remember, as you leave behind the large groups travelling on tour buses following flag-waving and megaphone-shouting guides. While travelling with our guide and group of three through Yunnan province in the southwest, we had great hikes, rode on great bikes, ran into a couple of guys called Mike, and even met some local lassies that we really liked! Yes, Chinafaces is one of the best ways to see the many faces of China!
