Small village set on a bay on the Budva riviera. Not too over-developed and with a range of different types of restaurants from western-style cool and chic with 'Blanche' to local fresh and simple seafood with 'Konova More'.
A really pleasant little beach lapped by clean, clear aquamarine waves. Friendly and low-key. Perfect for a couple wanting to get off the beaten track and do a little exploring. Easy access by seashore path to King's Beach, Queen's Beach and the famous and extremely pretty Sveti Stefan.
20 minutes south of Budva by taxi or bus along the coast road.
Sveti Stefan pretty?? The old, original and iconic town is indeed truly spectacular when viewed from outside. What's it like inside? I don't know - it's completely sealed off while building and renovation work go on. When it's finally re-opened it'll be off limits to all but the guests of the grand hotel which the whole of the old town is to become.
As for the new Stevi Stefan - I haven't visited a more charmless or soulless place on the Mediterranean. There's no centre, no promenade, few restaurants, even fewer shops - just lots of apartments. Cars occupy the pavements making walking on the street a necessary if hazardous occupation.
My suggestion: avoid this area, stick to the Bay of Kotor - or revel in the natural wonders inland.
