A couple of fields overlooking the sea with tents already erected and complete with very comfy bedding, tea and coffee making facilities and wonderful breakfast brought to your tent each morning. Washing facilities are very civilised and the whole experience is an ideal introduction to camping for beginners. The best campsite I have ever been to!

Good points: A much hyped campsite in a beautiful quiet location, great as a touring base and it's unusual in that it's small (12 guests max) and offers pre pitched tents and breakfast. Bad points: No local shops for simple supplies like bread, milk and water. The camping field itself is described as being on a 'slight incline' which is a worrying bit of litotes as the gradient is certainly not 'slight'. The facilities are embarrassingly poor. Only one toilet and one shower room between 12 people inevitably means queueing in the morning and this menial facility is located in the owner's back garden right next to their house and a fair distance from the tents. There's also no hot water for washing pots and pans and no facilities for drying on a not uncommon wet day. It's comparitively quite expensive for what it offers and we were disappointed.
