    Darbucka

    Posted by Kay36 19 April 2008

Darbucka is a Lebanese restaurant. I was in there celebrating my engagement to my fiance on Friday, and my fiance was told to move very rudely in Arabic, as the waiter figured that my guy was from that part of world.

I have going there for the last four years, but I would advise anyone wanting the Middle Eastern experience to go elsewhere.

They effectively ruined one of the most important days of our life.

I went to Darbucka last weekend as part of my birthday celebrations and we all thought the place was amazing! The price of the food on the Toptable offer was incredibly good value, the service was charming and friendly, and the atmosphere is great. We can't wait to go back and will be back soon - and we'll try the funky music bar downstairs next time too...

Yep. Of course you would. I assuming you don't have a natural tan. Darbucka is just not the place to enjoy yourself if you have one. But hey, who am I to think, that fellow restaurant goers would expect some decency across the board. Typical.
