This is a new five-star hotel just in front of the cathedral and the Giralda. It's super-modern and it has some great stuff inside it, such as a Japanese restaurant, Spanish modern food, a cocktail bar, rooftop terrace with insane views, spa massage facilities, and great service.
As a 15-year resident of Sevilla I actually find the new EME hotel a bit of a pretentious eyesore (what's with the 'gansta-pimp' doormen?), but I was interested in seeing the rooftop terrace with 'insane views' today but I was turned away and told it was only for hotel clients. But never mind, the Doña Maria Hotel just around the corner has a fabulous rooftop terrace with amazing views of the Giralda tower and cathedral, and you don't have to spend 300€ a night to go up and enjoy a drink there.
This place is incredibly overpriced and not really convivial/hospitable. There are plenty of pleasant and affordable places adjacent to it.
