Excellent Indian food and a great atmosphere. Most tables have a view of the kitchen, and all the food is prepared fresh. Be prepared to wait when it's busy, which is most of the time.

Two irritations are the lack of parking nearby and the fact that they try to squeeze larger groups onto a smaller table; for example, a party of six would be squeezed onto a table for four. So when booking always add a couple of people to the party size.

There are now two others, one at Grand West (the Cape Town Casino) and another on Church Street in Stellenbosch, both less busy and cheaper, but the food is just as good.

When we went the food was bland, the service was terrible and we waited almost an hour for our table despite booking two days in advance! Also, as mentioned, the parking is a real pain.

The food is fantastic, and we had no problem parking so maybe they've resolved the parking issue. The food, service, wine list... we couldnt complain. And we went two nights in a row!
