You will be given a car number and you should look for this number - in the City Taxi crest (See the website) on the car - the car will be there in less than 5 minutes. If there are two or more of you, it's cheaper, and faster, than the Airport Minibus service. No, I'm not on commission! On request, they'll send an estate if you have lots of baggage.

Remember if you are out late and you still know where you are going the night buses are good and the trams start at around 4.30am for the Korut. Now that the budget airlines go to Ferihegy 1, this tip is even more valid now. Ferihegy 1 is significantly closer to the centre than 2. City Taxi will get you to Buda for around 3,500 Forints and Pest for around 3,000. The airport minibus will cost two people 4,300+ and you will have to share with others. You may be first out of the bus, but you may be last. That makes a long connection to your hotel.
