Tokyo has a thriving music scene so why not take the chance to see some local bands live? Guilty is one such venue, tucked away in a side street in Ebisu. It's relatively small (capacity approx 150-200) and is friendly enough to strangers. Most of the bands which perform there tend to be of the rock/pop genre, some of which could well destined to bigger things. It also gives you the chance to hear Japanese music beyond Jpop. Entry fees vary but are not excesive and often include the price of the first drink.
