It gives you a feel of what Washington was like back in the golden jazz era of the 1950s and 1960s. Despite the fact that Georgetown has grown wealthy and white around it, the clientele is 90% black Washington and they know their music. You sit at a table and eat dinner by candlelight while the band plays. It’s an unforgettable night out.
