The best cinema in London, albeit with the very worst cafe/bar (dire food, miserable staff). Great for catching up on the classics of world cinema, sniffing out the work of upcoming filmmakers or attending one of the many film festivals.

Their new bar and restaurant are both very nice - makes a welcome change from the cafe of old...a lovely place to hang out after you've explored the amazing (free) TV and film archive.Send your feedback or queries to been.there@guardian.co.uk
