I've heard this notion often banded about that it is the biggest city centre indoor mall in Europe, but frankly I find it hard to believe. I've been in many that seem larger, including Manchester's Arndale. If you're wondering where all the 'regular' shops are in Lyon then yes, you'll find most of them here. However, aside from being located in perhaps the most bland, ugly and modernist district of the city, the inside of this centre is little different from any other indoor mall around the world. So if you're coming all the way to see lovely Lyon, why go here? I would argue that this should be in the tips of 'where not to go'.
