London is very expensive. To make the most of your time here eat McDonalds and fill up on Apple pies and stuff. the prices are fixed so you can have a meal for about six pounds sterling. I have been charged £5 for a slice of pizza before now.
Go to Stockpot on Old Compton St, near Shaftesbury Avenue. Cheap and nutritious. Or go to any branch of Wagamama (www.wagamama.com) and get a large bowl of healthy noodles and veg, with juice drink for the price of a mac, coke and fries.Send your feedback or queries to been.there@guardian.co.uk

Firstly, there's the new mini chain Leon, which offers cheap, healthy fast food. There are branches on Carnaby Street and at Ludgate near St Paul's, with more branches planned.
