A decent non-chain, centrally located choice, with professional service, just off place Bellecour, ideally situated for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing.
The usual cost 145 Euros a night including breakfast (can be served in your room at no extra charge) and tax may be somewhat steep, however at weekends you can get 2 nights for the price of one with the nationwide bon weekend en villes promotion.
