Historical Cádiz, with its narrow alleyways and charming plazas sits on a peninsula sticking out in the breezy Atlantic Ocean. Spaniards of all ages are out and about until after midnight. The liberal atmosphere survived Franco. Sample the town beach of Playa de la Victoria or the larger ones across the bay.
