Excellent pub with rooms in a small village a mile or so off A19 between Easingwold and Thirsk. Food is locally sourced, well presented and good value for money. The view from the car park is amazing. Quite a lot of themed nights and special events - Galtres Festival, Race Days.
Bedrooms are in former outbuildings and are of very high quality. They also host wedding receptions in a marquee behind the pub and provide next day brunch, including for those staying elsewhere.
