The children from Krousar Thmey’s orphanage put on a shadow puppet play every Thursday at La Noria restaurant. It's for a good cause and entertaining. The food is delicious too.

Shadow Puppets is a delightful experience. You are welcome to go behind the scenes and see the performers at work. A local companion is useful to explain the plot. Also make a visit to the school where the children are taught to perform and make leather puppets. Meet the puppet master and buy a puppet of your favourite character.Send your feedback or queries to been.there@guardian.co.uk
