    Wuhou Temple

Mentioned elsewhere already, but you should definitely go to the restaurant there - absolutely the best food i had in China.

All vegetarian, but incredibly skilful tofu imitations of traditional sichuan dishes - ever seen a whole 'fish' made of tofu? Go with a couple of other people and order a range of pot luck dishes. It's cheap too.

This should be Wenshu Temple on Ren Min Zhong Lu/Ren Min Bei Lu. Wenshu's Temple is well known as a functioning temple, outdoor tea house, and vegetarian restaurant.

Wuhouci Temple is near Tianfu Square. It is a beautiful temple, but is better known for its Jin Li Street or Shopping/Snack Street. The shopping street features locally made clothing, purses, shoes, traditional handicraft, and bars. Attached to it is Snack Street where you can sample all of the traditional Sichuan street snacks.
