Similar to Covent Garden, but the best seats cost about £10. Go to any musical for the experience, or just to see the place.

Teatro Colon closed for remodelling October 2006. It will, apparently, be closed for two years. Great place and acoustics are wonderful. The guided tours are pretty informative and worth the fee. Just watch out for pickpockets operating in the area. They normally spill mustard on you or create some sort of diversion before they reach for your pockets.
