One of the very finest restaurants in Miami, in one of its swankiest hotels. Blue Door is expensive but if you can afford it, it's worth the money. If you're lucky you might find a movie star on the next table. Robert de Niro was chomping on a mushroom truffle when we there (if it wasn't him, the guy could make a fortune as a double).

I have to say, having eaten there twice in the last four months, while the surroundings are incredibly sumptious, particulary the pool and cabana areaat night, the food itself has not been that great - particularly bearing in mind the price. Worth popping in for a drink and to stand in wonder at the surroundings but eat elsewhere.Send your feedback or queries to been.there@guardian.co.uk
