This hotel is great fun - every room is themed/named after a film set in San. Rooms are a decent size, clean and stylish and you get breakfast (muffins and coffee) and free internet access included in the price. There is also an in-house cinema, but personally I though this was a bit gimmicky. The staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. But best of all, it is really not all that expensive.

The Bijou is close to Union Square and all major public transport routes. The only problem is that we found that there was a lot of noise coming up from the street below, so I would recommend getting a room closer to the top of the building.
