They are about to open a Piccolino in West Didsbuy on Lapwing Lane - in place of the Assembly. Hopefully they'll retain the same laid back and chic atmosphere as the Assembly. £3.50 for a Coke? Glorified chain? There is now one in West Didsbury too (on Lapwing Lane). It's very nice, especially in the summer with their large veranda at the front.
