A brilliant out-of-the way restaurant with cheap, huge plates of schnitzel. Much better than some of the tourist traps in the centre of town.
Neubaugassse, 52, 7th district; Volkstheater or Neubaugasse underground stop
Still there, very cheap and cheerful but with truly massive portions: enough for two people at least. By the way be prepared to share a table. For a Schnitzel, potato salad and a big glass of Sturm I paid just over ten euros.Send your feedback or queries to been.there@guardian.co.uk
