    Hotel San Giorgio

Posted by hmpennell 31 March 2006

A small family-run hotel between St. Mark's and the Rialto. Although the size of bedroom can be a bit hit and miss (try to avoid 25 as it basically has space for two single beds and not much else. 26 on the other hand is very good), they all seem to be very elegantly decorated and with good bathrooms. Excellent breakfasts - they do bacon with omelette, fried or scrambled eggs, as well as bread, cakes, yoghurts etc. Helpful staff. In high season seems a bit pricey, but last weekend it was 95 euro per double room per night, including breakfast.
