Why? It's just one big building site and construction is sometimes around the clock. Maybe not what you want if you are paying £200+ a night for a beach-side hotel.......?

Who cares if Dubai is still a building site. The building work is not intrusive, plus, watching a city grow and in such a spectacular way is exciting. I was there for two weeks in July 06 and have booked for another two weeks in 07. Go, you'll not be disappointed.
