pittg pointed out that two football teams from Krakow are celebrating their centenaries this year. For a foreigner to get involved would be incredibly dangerous. Do what most Poles do and watch football on TV, unless you want to end up in hospital.

I was over in March and went to the Wisla Krakow v Groclin game. Great atmosphere, loads of chanting and singing from the Wisla fans. No more threatening than any game I've been to in England. It's the same the world over if you want trouble you can find it, if you don't it's easily avoided.
