Vast palace, with a dull exterior but lavish interior. They don't make too much of the fact that much of the building was destroyed in 1944 and then rebuilt a few years later. So you shouldn't either.

In June 2008 there was extensive further work under way and some parts were closed. However, the Cuvillies rococo court theatre is now restored and open for visits (and performances) and well worth the detour it takes to get to on this extensive site.
