    Exit Festival

Posted by Squiriam 22 June 2006

Camp by the Danube, go hot air ballooning by night, party on the beach and listen to the likes of Dave Clarke, Franz Ferdinand, Pet Shop Boys and Suzanne Vega. All for only €66.75.

July 6-9, Petrovaradin Fortress, Novi Sad.
Novi Sad is 80km north-west of Belgrade. You can catch a bus from there, and some companies run regular car services from Belgrade Airport.

EXIT 2007 is upon us. I am a Brit living in Novi Sad, so I put together some stuff on my site that might help anyone planning to come to EXIT:

    www.itsgottabered.com/MTB-Serbia/about-serbia/things-to-see-in-serbia/the-exit-festival-novi-sad/

It's not comprehensive by any means, so let me know if you think I have left anything out. The main thing to know is that Serbia can be a bit crazy, but its also one of the safest, friendliest places you can imagine!

So enjoy! I will be listening from my balcony, probably!

Novi Sad during the Exit 2007 was filled with British people, over 10,000 of them! I've seen so many mates from school, I can't believe it. Still it was a very nice experience, the city is unbelievably cool, very cheap. My trip was organized by myself (booked early flight to Budapest), but I booked an apartment over www.premier-nekretnine.com, they rent apartments to exit-goers for the 4 day period of the festival. The food is fantastic and just can't wait to come back in 2008, I'll maybe even come a couple of days earlier, before the Exit hectic starts! Gotta Love Serbia!!

Whatever you do, don't book with Vamos travel - my girlfriend did last year and they cancelled her booking about 2 months before the festival >¬(

EXIT Festival is a revelation. Each day starts at 6pm and finishes at 9am the next morning but that doesn't stop the masses! Party by night - party by day!

I stayed in Hotel Milka with www.intoexit.com, so much fun and they have dj's playing tunes all day on the roof terrace.

Think they do transport to although didn't do that as I had a car. Have fun x

Great festival it's one of the best experiences I've had. Not just the festival either but the travelling around it and meeting people from all over the world who only want a good time. Would recommend to anyone.
There's a new unofficial site just gone up for English speakers with a forum and info www.go2exit.co.uk.
