    Willow Tea Rooms

This is a must. Rennie Mackintosh style with art deco interior, high back chairs and delightful teas. Revive with afternoon tea served by waitresses in rustling black satin uniforms with white aprons and tiny headbands. Dr. Finlay would have been at home here.

If it's really busy, don't bother - the service is terrible and the staff don't have a clue what they're doing. Full of pensioners! If you're a Charles Rennie Mackintosh fan, which i am, give it a miss - you're not missing much, quite disappointed.

What a disappointment! Overpriced, disorganised, poor service, etc. Afternoon tea at £11.85 doesn't include meringues (£3.65 extra) and one tiny cup of coffee. Service was slow and inefficient, and the ongoing refurbishment just serves to inconvenience the customers. We definitely won't be returning.
