    Public toilets

Posted by daedelus 24 July 2006

Public toilets tend to have disappeared in large cities but halfway along Buchanan Street an ancient underground toilet exists for the relief of the distressed! Surrounded by iron railings, worn steps lead down to the subterranean levels where there are the cleanest of ablutions, guarded by an eagle eyed attendant in a minute retreat complete with lace curtains, under the stairs.
