Go to Beauty's for brunch or breakfast. I love the mishmash of this place, which has been operating since 1942 and has consistently been voted best place for breakie and brunch.

However as a solo traveller, I was not made to feel at all welcome and after waiting to be seated (it is a popular place & the queue got even longer after I arrived) I felt I shouldn't linger over my food. The booths are quite cramped with waitresses swarming around from all angles.
That said, I don't regret my last lunch in Canada here.
