    Churasscaria Brasil

Posted by kazzzz 29 August 2006

Beautiful Brazilian restaurant in Dublin's south city centre. If you've never had a Brazilian meal, try the BBQ. Some of the nicest meat to be found in Ireland (apparently straight from Brazil though!). Have a light lunch as you get loads of food, and don't forget to try one or two caipirinhas!

About the Brazilian restaurant in Dublin, what a rip off! I'm Brazilian myself and I've never been to any Brazilian place that charges you so much for so little food. Ok, you can eat salad as much as you want, but who goes to a Brazilian restaurant to eat salad?

The best thing about Brazilian food is the variety of meats which, by the way, the menu shows that they have five different types but they only really had four, plus the IRISH sausage doesn't count, so we could say that they had only three types of Brazilian meat.

The price was 29.99 euros per person, my husband and I had ONE can of guarana each and we ended up paying a bill of 72.00 euros, is the can of soda 6.00 euros each? And they do not give you a receipt with the items consumed on it, they only bring you the total, which is very very suspicious.

Well, I've been living in Ireland for nine months now and I was really craving Brazilian food that day so I agreed to pay the amount, but I could not miss the oportunity to tell everyone what the Churrascaria Brasil in Dublin is like, if you've ever been to a Brazilian restaurant anywhere else in the world you'll know that the one in Dublin is a real joke, a very expensive joke.
