Huge crowds of people from all over Cambodia come to Phnom Penh. Boat races along the river are followed by boat processions at night. Go to the FCC for a great view..

It's the closest thing to a national festival in Cambodia, bringing a great non-stop carnival atmosphere to the streets crowded with what seems like half of Cambodia's population politely partying for the duration. Lots of folk watch the races as much to see the boats sink as to support their village
