Fellside Cottage is set in a great location, really quiet with incredible views over the surrounding fells and valley.
The accommodation is really spacious and light and the welcome warm and friendly! Go and stay, it's a great spot!
Fellside Cottage is in Manesty, Borrowdale, up on the side of Catbells
Northwood is a beautiful Victorian house right on the beach front of St Annes with the most stunning views across the sea.
There are two fantastically modern, ensuite B&B rooms decorated with style and a great deal of thought for comfort and practicality. Far from the traditional and rather basic ideas of the average B&B room, the rooms at Northwood could easily rival deluxe bedrooms at many a top-end hotel with carefully chosen themes, colours, soft furnishings and art work.
The owners of Northwood are incredibly friendly and make sure you feel totally catered for and will go out of their way to see that you have access to all that the surrounding area offers.
The owners are also very child-friendly and being parents themselves, they were amazing in helping out with any child-related items we had forgotten to bring. It's the only B&B I've ever stayed in that manages to remain sleek, elegant and stylish whilst catering so wonderfully to children.
Northwood is ideally situated for the beach, the pier, shops in St Annes Square, the trendy restaurant scene in Lytham, traditional seaside fun in Blackpool and it's ideal for golfers who wish to take advantage of Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club. I really couldn't fault it. If you're looking for a comfortably modern and stylish place to stay with a relaxing, friendly atmosphere then I can't recommend Northwood highly enough. It's certainly the best B&B I've stayed in and will be returning there in the very near future.

We camped in in the Bois de Boulogne campsite in the west of Paris - it's mainly a caravan park, and the three areas reserved for tents are pretty much scrubland (one is right next to a noisy main road, the other is on a small roundabout on the campsite, and the third is not very flat at all).
But it's easy to get into Paris from (one bus, then metro), and camping saves you money on accommodation to spend on food!
This is an amazing collection of seven genuine original airstream caravans for hire. We have just returned from a week there and it was fantastic. The site is excellent and the area great for touring.

A broken down car in the middle of the Brecon Beacons and an inability to get to our pre-booked accommodation was not a great start to the holiday, but without those factors we would never have happened across Ardwen House - a true gem of a B&B. We were warmly welcomed into a beautifully refurbished room with en-suite roll-top bath, invited for drinks in the library before dinner, and utterly spoilt with some wonderful home-cooked food. We were hooked.

This beautiful Georgian house is a B&B, and then some. Owners, Mike and Susan Gordon (delightful hosts) restored the house from scratch (they also own a modern property available for hire nearby) have had a few celebrity guests stay. The place is going to be featured in the next Mr and Mrs Smith guidebook, say no more.
£138-£258 with complimentary drinks and run of the house. aboutscotland.com/edin/royalcircus.html
Small B&B opened this year by Dinah and Brian Post who are friendly and welcoming while allowing guests their own space. Rooms are comfortable and the cooked breakfast delicious.
It’s in a great spot for walking activities and Hay-on-Wye is less than half an hour's drive away. Surrounding countryside is awesome.

I grew up in Warwick and the three best things about it were (indeed I think still are) the pizzas at Piccolinos, the Castle and the best local park ever, St Nicholas's.
Avon Guest House is a lovely bed and breakfast 5 minutes' walk away from all three, making it perfect for families. Run by a lovely couple who are really welcoming and knowledgable about all the local attractions and the sights to be found a short bus/train/car ride away (Stratford-Upon-Avon, The Cotswolds).
It's chintz-free and more like a hotel than a standard B&B. I had one of the best nights' sleep on a super comfy bed and woke up to the smell of bacon frying downstairs - heaven. They also do the most perfect scrambled eggs (apart from my boyfriend's!)
Had to adjust our hotel booking due to changes to flights. The Milford hadn't been our first choice and so a hasty decision was made in booking it.
Do we regret it? Well, yes and no. It's a bit sad and needs updating so if you are after a bit of luxury, it's not the place for you. Other than that, the staff are helpful and efficient and security is very tight. The rooms, although dated, were clean and tidy.
We were out of the hotel 12- 14 hours a day so even if it was all-singing, all-dancing we wouldn't have used such facilities. Cheap and cheerful sums it up. It was very busy with guests and we weren't aware of anyone making any complaints so I guess most people were of the same mindset that it was simply a bed for the night and nothing more. We've paid more for much worse accommodation and service in the UK and other countries.
It's a great location on 8th and 45th, with so much on its doorstep. I would expect if it gets an expensive makeover in the next couple of years then the room rates will go up accordingly. Get it booked while it's still reasonable value.

Hotel Chopin in the grands boulevards district is a real find. Truly French , but great location at a reasonable price.
Definitely the posh end of the B&B business. Grade 1-listed half-timbered and dating from the 13th century. Lots of oak beams and floors, Elizabethan wall paintings, four-posters, bateau lit etc. There’s even an honesty bar.
From £95.

Hastings B&Bs never used to be like this. It’s as stylish as any “boutique” hotel. There’s even a menu for breakfast. From £90.

Kiruna has many interesting types of accommodation available. As well as a good choice of comfortable hotels and guest houses, Kiruna also offers a choice of original and exclusive ideas such as the Ice Hotel, wilderness cabins, lodges, igloos and traditional wig wams.
The unique Ice Hotel gets rebuilt year after year from the ice of the local Torne river. With its ice sculptures and fine works of art, the Ice Hotel is truly an experience that should not be missed.

Quiet and peaceful, you can camp, stay in an old gypsy caravan, sleep in the dorm, or take the family room with private bathroom.
It is beautiful, with views over a great green valley, hammocks, wonderful coffee, the amazing ruins of Copan up the road.
If Sao Paulo is only a stopover as a transport hub for you, then this is a good hotel that has deals on the net and if you join their scheme (which is free) gives you late check-out at 4pm. Free transport to and from the airport too.

The only apartments that we could find in Mancora for two. All the other places to hire were big houses for 10 people or more. This is a great place with a pool, apartments for two and four, a restaurant if you want it, but kitchens in all the apartments.
If you are on route from Peru to Ecuador or vice versa, this is a great beach place to visit for a few down days.
It is sunny, there is accommdation on the beach and there is a chilled out vibe. Don't make a special trip to visit though as it's not beautiful.
2 hours from Piura and 2 hours from Tumbes on the coast.
