    More good hamburgers

Posted by SUSA 7 December 2007

When at IN-N-OUT - don't forget to look for the Biblical references on your cups and remember The Dude.

Fatburger is almost as cheap as the incredible IN-N-OUT Burger with more of a diner feel and no Bible verses

Charcoal - when you want upscale - new but gaining fans - 6372 W Sunset Boulevard, LA, CA 90028

The Oinkster - worth the drive to Eagle Rock - you don't really need a reason to visit ER, just do it before it gets too trendy.

And don't forget a stroll down Hollywood Boulevard while you're out.

    Ferg Burger

Posted by sjrobin 3 September 2007

The best burgers in the world - we found the counter down a back alley, and were shocked to be given homemade aoli with our chips! Not the food we were used to as backpackers.

So good there is even a Facebook group devoted to it.

The Serena's burgers are to die for - and you get to eat them sitting by their pool in their beautiful grounds. If anyone can work out the secret ingredient please, please post it on Been there.

    Freshness Burger

Posted by tracyk 29 May 2007

This is a very popular and cheap fast food restaurant. Like the similar MosBurger, orders are cooked from fresh, so don't expect MacD's style service.

The burgers are amazingly tasty: I still dream about the bacon omelette burger 18 months after my return to the UK! Delicious fresh lemonade, chunky wedges and a huge range of condiments, all served by very young and helpful staff.

    Almost everywhere!

    Perfect Blend

Posted by Nikki Sturzaker 9 August 2006

This south London bar puts wagyu beef between its buns, making the tastiest, melt-in-the-mouth patties you'll find, and for under £10. The back-up Asian/ western fusion menu, the range of beers and wines, and the coffee are all top quality, too. In a city of golden arches and southern colonels, it's a revelation.

    Ed's Easy Diner

Posted by Sofia Asif 9 August 2006

The place to head when the urge strikes. A hymn to 60s Americana, where location, styling and menu are in perfect harmony. The burgers are classic, the options simple - no focaccia buns on this list. Burgers are cooked to order, take two hands to hold - and you'll be glad of the plentiful napkins.

    Mo's Burgers

Posted by Silas 16 July 2006

Years since I've been to San Francisco and despite my efforts to improve, Moe's burgers are still the best burgers I've ever had.
