Old-fashioned diner (in that converted-train-carriage stylee) in the centre of South Beach. Serves old-fashioned diner food at decent prices and is open 24 hours. Also serves beer, and has an outside terrace.

A little gay/lesbian/local bar in Chamonix open all night. When all other pubs, bars, clubs have shut their doors, and chucked you out onto the street; there is always the toff. Once you walk through the door there is no going back; the atmosphere hits you like thunderbirds on your first ever night out.

Ellies is a small takeaway in the centre of town. From the time that the locals vacate the pubs until the time that the taxis (or police) cart them away it is serving a steady stream of the best chips coated in cheese in the United Kingdom.
