I went with some friends to Zero Zero lounge next to Rio’s planetarium. I thought it was a bit expensive when compared to other clubs I had been to, but the ambience was pretty hipster and sophisticated. They have a huge open-air lounge area with many couches, Indian wooden benches and the ambiance is candlelit, the décor surely adds a sexy, romantic feel to the place. The gorgeous trendy locals cruise around in fashion clothes and fancy drinks. This place is definitely worth a check.
The best part of Tirana is the 'blloku' (block) area - the streets in the old Commie Party residential area - now full of shops, bars, restaurants. Especially lively in early evening when everyone comes out for a stroll between here and Rinia park.

The owner blocked completion of the luxury suites but all other amenities are there - terrace, restaurant, two bars. Great spot to relax, enjoy great food, great cocktails and then dance into the evening downstairs.

It's a nice and interesting bar serving a very tasty and un-pasteurized tap beer from a small and independent Czech brewery called Svijany, playing Balkan and Gypsie music. There one can find people from everywhere (many Italians, Spaniards, French, American, from the Balkans and of course Germans), all this in an up-and-coming area of north Neukölln. And, by the way, sometimes they serve free Grasovka vodka for everyone.

A football bar in the home of Calcio. This small sports bar has a lively atmosphere, showing football and rugby to a predominantly Inter Milan crowd, although they accommodate all supporters and carry games from Britain and elsewhere.

Enoteca is a pair of wine bars where bottles start at around 90RMB- the same price as you pay in a Shanghainese supermarket.
The low profit margins don't mean that corners are cut though, as the service is spot on, French-style bar food (Croque Monsieur, creme brulee) is delicious and the XinTianDi branch has great live music on Wednesday nights.
Classy on the cheap with a loyal following.

Windows Scoreboard- the best of the three Windows around town, Scoreboard serves up a steak dinner for 30RMB, and 10RMB beers to a crowd of expat college kids and credit crunchees.
The music is a lot better than the service, and there are screens showing random TV channels everywhere you look, but it's hard to argue when Fish and Chips cost 10RMB a plate.

Lapa 40 Graus is a traditional samba house located right on samba’s birthplace, the Lapa neighborhood. Needless to say, it’s a must-try for everyone who wants to have a piece of the real samba experience. They have several dancefloors, with different bands playing, so even if you’re not into samba, you’ll definitely find something for you. I recommend it!

Young, trendy, euro-trash Irish style pub (although they seem to display a flag for every nationality). Large screens show French and international football during the day with a chilled atmosphere and after-dark funky DJs host what may be the only indie night in Paris. Certainly the cheapest - it's free and runs 'til 5am! Drink prices are student-friendly, and what's more, they play regular host to 'after-shows' for the likes of Bloc Party, Interpol and other massive bands.
12 Rue Feydeau. Nearest Metro is Bourse (line 3)
This is the coolest bar on the planet. Situated beneath a huge tree, there is a live band on Friday and Saturday nights. Loads of cocktails on the menu as well as beers, wines etc. It doesn't get going until around 11pm/midnight but it is an excellent night out.

Tucked away in the heart of the city centre, La Pirogue brings a colourful African vibe to the cobbled streets of Lille.
Admire the eye-catching wall murals while you choose from the bar’s range of powerful cocktails, some with intriguing 'secret ingredients' (I can recommend the mojito - in moderation!)!
Soak up the friendly atmosphere, and for one night at least you can leave northern France behind and be transported to a faraway land!
For a great late night jazz bar go to Archiduc at 6 rue Antoine-Dansaert, Bruxelles.
It'll be a hit with anyone who loves Art Deco, cozy drinking holes, live jazz, fab cocktails and an eclectic mix of people enjoying themselves.
Enjoy a wilder side of Brussels in the Bois de Cambre, the faded hippodrome at Boitsfort, and then wander or picnic for hours through the wild forests south of the city.
Forget the grachts, the quaint tallhouses and the coffee shops - take a trip out to the eastern docklands, the evocatively named Borneo-Sporenburg, KNSM & Java islands.
Marvel at the Dutch way of designing cities, take a guided tour & weep for the UK.
Have a Friday evening drink with after work crowd in Hoppe bar in the Spui, followed by a fine meal with laid back bustling service in the neighbouring Luiden bistro.
In the old city and Kazimierz you will find many pubs and clubs, where you can spend the whole night (there is not any time limits for parties ;). Get your friends and forget about your problems - you will spend the best time of your life in those cheap, very often free places.
The old city in the city center and district called Kazimierz (on the south of the old city).
