Hungary's English language podcast gives you a personal take on things to do, places to go and people to see in Budapest and in Hungary. You can listen to the show on your computer or your mp3 device.
I enjoyed this audio tour of Bruges. It tells you about the history of the city and shows you how the building styles developed. But it also shows you some really intriguing things, like how Louis de Gruuthuse had his motto put up in both French and Flemish so everyone could read it, whichever language they spoke.
It's a downloadable audio guide that takes you round Ghent, telling you about the history of the town and the art and architecture. It starts and finishes at the cathedral and takes - well I suppose about three hours walking but I stopped for a beer half way.
Melbourne is a very liveable and visitable city with great cafes, shopping and history. On a recent visit, I found one of the best things I did was take a pod tour of Melbourne's Laneways.
I used a free podcast from Talk'N Tours which was great but there are others available.
I got to see street art, quirky shops and a good bit of the central city sights as I wound my way along the back streets and through alleyways I otherwise wouldn't have.
Station: Starts at Flinders St Station

There is a fantasic amount of interesting history around Shakespeare, brothels, bear bating pits and pubs along this stretch of river. I recently downloaded an audio guide for my mp3 player from a website at www.podguides.co.uk. Really good intersting walk recorded by a proper Blue Badge guide.
It's an atmospheric podcast that lasts an hour and a half and covers all the colonial centre of Singapore. Lots of characters and music and growling lions etc. There's a ghost, a Malay king, an Indian convict and Lee Kuan Yew himself!! Actually, I bet this is the only dramatic representation of Lee Kuan Yew ever performed, let's see if it gets banned!
