Just took a trip to Extremadura to look at some property and ended up falling in love with this amazing and almost unknown region of Spain.

Gorgeous unspoilt scenery, unbelievable historical sites, Merida is the best preserved Roman town in Iberia! Could not have enjoyed the exploration without the help of the guys at La Sierra agency, they not only sell property but can arrange cycling and hiking expeditions, accommodation etc.

Based in the mountain town of Montánchez, right in the middle of the triangle of three world heritage towns, Caceres, Merida and Trujillo.

    Sozopol

Posted by epearts 7 August 2007

Anyone foolish enough to visit Sunny Beach should jump on the first bus to Bourgas and thence to Sozopol.

Mercifully, relatively few Brits currently visit - but the number is increasing as word escapes re its laid back charms and excellent value-for-money restaurants. Sozopol - the Eternal City - has long been a favourite escape for artists and for the first ten days of September it hosts the acclaimed Apollonia international Arts Festival.

There is a good sprinkling of beaches and Kavatse has a particularly Bohemian character.

The Hotel Diamanti is one of the few hotels located in the historic Old Town and provides a great base for visits south to the semi-tropical Ropotomo River, ancient forests and nature reserves.

Visit this area before it too becomes spoiled.

    Advantage Croatia Real Estate

Posted by Samomalo 17 July 2007

I was recently in Trogir/Ciovo looking to buy a property there. I've been visiting Ciovo regularly over the last 5 or 6 years, and have grown very fond of the place, so finally decided I should look for a place of my own there (of course, if I'd have bought somewhere when I initially visited I could have saved myself a lot of money!).

I viewed with a few local agents, who I have to say were rather pushy, and then I viewed with Advantage. They're a small company, very friendly and very helpful. I found a place I wanted, they arranged all the paperwork, lawyers etc, and even helped with furnishing and insurance and stuff. I'm now the happy owner of a nice 1 bed I can share with my friends and family. So all in all a big thumbs up - they were such nice guys I figure I'll give them some free publicity!
