Campeggio Priori is a small camp site and has none of the bells and whistles of the larger sites around Lake Garda. It is a peaceful oasis right in the heart of this lovely town, only five minutes walk from the lake or the cable car, with shops right outside the site's gate. The on-site facilities are excellent, and there is also self-catering accommodation. You can stroll from your tent or campervan through the cobbled, narrow streets and be sitting in a bar by the lake in minutes.

Chez les Roset is a beautiful self catering house (sleeps 4) in the stunning and peaceful valley, Valgrisanche. The house is full of charm and character and from the balcony you have a view of mountains and a glacier, as well as Planaval, a picturesque village. Excellent walking in the area and a highlight at the end of the valley is hearing the marmots whistle and spotting the bundles of fur among the rocks on the hillside.

    Kenmare Rentals.com

Posted by vanandjer 24 July 2008

I got a few days off from work and decided to try and find something in Kerry. I found Kenmare Rentals - they own the properties and were great to deal with, the website was good (we booked online) and very easy. We got confirmation straight away.

We stayed in Barr Cill Athat, about two miles from Kenmare, which has views of Kenmare Bay and the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay - we only had one problem with our broadband and we got it fixed within an hour. They have a good selection of properties, and they also own a popular place for eating and drinking (O'Donnabhains). We will be definitely be back.

    Elizabeth's Garden Cottage

My wife and I have stayed at Elizabeth's Garden Cottage and found it quite delightful. The yard is beautiful and full of flowers. The cottage is comfortable, reasonable and well equipped. Kenmare is charming and nearby.

    Old Town Apartment

Posted by Stephenson 8 June 2006

I stayed in this holiday studio in the Old Town. Nice and clean, fully fitted kitchette, air-conditioning and a large patio. Also, the landlord was very friendly and helpful in meeting us late at night. Will absolutely recommend it for other people.

    Krakow Apartments

Posted by Dorsetman 20 May 2006

Apartments in Krakow's Old Town with a bit of character. I visited the city quite recently, and have stayed in two of the apartments they have - the Polanski (where the film director himself used to live) and the Florian, which overlooks the medieval town walls. The great thing about the apartments, apart from fantastic locations, is the level of service. Even when we arrive really late (which happens when we come via Wizzair and bus from Katowice Airport) there is no problem getting our keys and getting into the flat. Run by a friendly and young team who are eager to help.

    Freestanza Apartments

    Posted by ceejayne24 19 May 2006

My friend and I rented a duplex apartment in Barcelona for one week and were so happy with the decision to stay there. It was very clean and modern, and looked exactly like it did on the website. The people who work with this apartment were extremely helpful and easy to get a hold of. It is located on a narrow street in Barceloneta. I felt very safe in this area (which I was especially thankful for since my friend and I are both girls). It was a bit loud in the morning, but I felt like a local. Highly recommended.

    Hotel Bahia in Santa Eulalia

Posted by halukiboy 26 April 2006

Facing the beach in Santa Eulalia, this is a really good aparthotel (apartment/hotel). The flats are clean, large, there is a kitchen, and it’s very affordable. The location is great as well, right on the edge of the main beach in Santa Eulalia, with a nice Thai restaurant just outside.

I like the toilets as well because they have a bide, so you don't have to mess around with toilet paper (maybe a bit too much information, but these details are important sometimes).

    Chalet in the Mountains

Posted by travelman 28 October 2005

Last season, we found some superb family friendly accommodation in Les Houches, a village just a short drive from Chamonix centre. There is a great garden for sledging and snowman building, the children loved the ski school and Helen (the owner) was very helpful in organising lessons, ski passes etc. They supply everything from baby alarms, cots, high-chairs even toys (which anyone with any experience of packing with little ones will know these things are priceless) and what's more they didnt cost extra! We had such a great time we already booked again for this winter.

    Prague Luxury Apartments

Posted by EmSparks 8 July 2006

Fantastic accommodation at very reasonable rates. The location is second to none, just a stone’s throw from the Old Town Square and located just off Parizska Street (Prague's mini Knightsbridge with Hermes, Louis Vuitton and more).

The price includes free airport transfer and our driver was prompt and extremely courteous, despite speaking fractured English he pointed out places of interest as we approached the city centre.

Accommodation consists of self-contained apartments, ours was nice and spacious, very clean and toasty warm (we stayed in January!). Only minor point was that the bathroom was a tad small but a nice big shower made up for this.

The apartments are located in a listed building which has links to Franz Kafka and I recall reading in the info pack in the apartment that it is due to be renovated to restore some of the fabulous orginal features in the currently, rather dark entrance hall.
